Brain therapy

Brain Therapy was developed by Dr.Bruno Chikly, MD, DO. This technique features a gentle, and non-invasive approach to working with restrictions within the brain and the whole body nervous system.

When your brain is overlooked, your body can misalign itself. This could be a reason why some treatments and attempts at body corrections do not stay in place. Traumas can be anything from a simple slip and fall, to a gentle head bonk, to an epidural, up to a severe concussion. When the brain tries to protect itself, it makes adjustments and accommodations to help create balance. This can lead to over-compensation, pulling of fascia and so much more.

The brain is a remarkable organ, that comprises of about 2% of our body weight, while utilizing 40% of our body’s nutrients. The hard working nature of our central nervous system (brain, spinal cord, membranes and nerves) needs addressing in therapy, just like our muscles and joints.

The brain has approximately 100 billion neurons, consisting of a quadrillion connections between them. These numbers clearly illustrate that the body goes to extraordinary lengths to ensure that the brain sustains impeccable strategic communication with every cell, organ and system of our bodies.

Brain Therapy can help patients of all ages, specifically those with brain and spinal related pathologies, including but not restricted to: Closed-head injuries, traumatic brain injury, cognitive and brain dysfunctions, dementia, headaches, postural problems, PTSD, stroke, back or spine related pain, post-meningitis syndrome, post-polio syndrome and concussions.
